Arsenal set to sign Marouane Fellaini

Arsenal are trying to lure Manchester United contract rebel; Marouane Fellaini to Emirate . Fellaini whose contract expires at the season has refused to sign an extension with the Old Trafford outfit as he looks to try his trade elsewhere.

With his game time limited last season due to injuries  coupled  with crops of talented midfielders  at Mourinho’s disposal he maybe regarded as surplus to requirement even though Mourinho still regard him as a valuable asset, he needs more playing time.

With age no more on his side and his style  of play, former gunners boss Wenger would not have consider signing him but the new boss Unai Emery is a big fan as he has tried to sign previously when he was still at Paris Saint Germain. With  limited resources at Emery,s disposal , the new gunners boss will be more than happy to land Fellaini on a free transfer.

Arsenal should be ready to pay him a weekly wage above £80,000 which he recently turned down at Manchester United. Ac Milian  is also reportedly interested in landing the hefty midfielder but he might prefer to stay in England where he has settled for more than a decade. Failed former Manchester United boss; David Moyes signed Fellaini from Everton for £27.5m in the summer of 2013. He doesn’t seem to have much fans among the Old Trafford faithfuls  even though he has been a key player under three different mangers at Manchester United.

Fellaini might want to wait until after the world cup to see if  shrewd arsenal will be able to meet his demands.
