The Blues are reported to be keen on matching the player’s valuation despite having spent £57.5m on Christian Pulisic. Also, Gonzalo Higuain is expected to join the club this week in a deal worth £9m.
Leandro Paredes is also reportedly close to sealing a £31m move as he has been flirting with Chelsea in recent times on social media.
Coutinho looks set to return to the Premier League as both Manchester United and Chelsea are both keen on him, amidst reports that Liverpool have no interest in signing their ex player.
