Chelsea have been acknowledged as the club most likely to sign Barcelona star Malcolm when he quits Nou Camp in January.
Malcolm was signed last July from Bordeaux for a fee in the region of €41m. Since his arrival though, he hasn’t had the opportunities he would have envisaged before he signed.
Prior to the match against Inter Milan, the Brazilian had only enjoyed 25 minutes of football. His 83rd minute goal against Inter Milan has buoyed the player that his future remains with the Catalan giants.
“Barcelona was a dream I had as a child,” he said.
“To debut in the Champions League and score a goal, I will celebrate with the family. My dream at Barca is starting, my dream is to make history and do great things. I have to thank the group for giving me confidence. I want to play more. Every day I train to be able to show that I have the quality to be in this group.” He concluded.
Regarding the reports of speculated transfer to Chelsea in January, the No. 14 declared them as fake and added that he has been training really hard to show the group that he has the quality to be involved.
