Deal close: Arsenal submit £38m bid to make attacker first January signing

Arsenal football club have reportedly submitted a bid worth around £38 million to Inter Milan to lure Croatian winger Ivan Perisic to England.

The need to reinforce by the Gunners must have been overwhelming after the humiliating defeat they suffered at home to rejuvenated Manchester United in the FA Cup last week.

The Gunners are facing a little financial upheaval with the board not sanctioning contract due to this lack thereof.

So in other to secure Perisic, Arsenal are asking that he be loaned to them and they will afterwards make the deal permanent if all goes well.

Inter Milan are interested in an outright sale of the 29-year-old Croatian and are therefore not keen on the proposition by Arsenal who recently entered the race to secure his services.

Manchester United were last week the front runners for the World Cup finalist signature but the interest seems to be waning due of the performances of the offensive players currently at the club.

The club has been stuttering with their performances so appalling sometimes especially against teams they should be doing well against.

An experience attacker like Perisic will do wonders at Arsenal if the club can get the deal for him over the line.
