Emerging reports from Italy have confirmed the completion of a season-long loan move for Chelsea Nigeria pacy defender has to Italian side Torino.
Ola Aina, who spent last season on loan at championship side Hull City has completed his season-long loan move to Torino after declining offers from various English clubs.
Aina who has one cap for the Super Eagles of Nigeria but did not feature in the World Cup was a target for Lampard’s Derby County, Westbrom, Frosinone, PSV Eindhoven and Villarreal has opted instead to join Italian serie A side Torino.
Torino who were the last entrant to show interest in the player have successfully secured the pacy full-back signature for the season with a rumoured option to make permanent if the player impresses.

21-year-old Aina featured in Chelsea’s preseason, but has been deemed surplus to requirement with the likes of Zappacosta and Azilipicueta considered ahead him for the right full back position under Maurizio Sarri.
Aina’s decision to join the Italian side can be explained from the competition on offer in the Italian league known for their tough footballing style. This will evolve Aina’s game and fine tune is defensive technique and awareness.
We wish him luck as he embraces a new path in his burgeoning career.
