European giants, Chelsea, have been told by Eden Hazard that his days in London are far from over if he pens a new contract extension.
Eden Hazard has been on the radar of Real Madrid since the summer after enjoying a scintillating World Cup outing. He has brought the form to the league where he has scored goals and impact games for his club.
The 28-year-old Belgian was thought to be toying with the idea that playing for the Bernabeau club will make him a complete player by lifting the champions league – a trophy he is yet to raise to the high sky.
However, the responsibility and pattern of play employed by new manager Maurizio Sarri has seen him evolve his game and become more involved in his teams proceedings. This change has led to speculations that the club is not far from achieving his dream of lifting the Big Ol’ Ears and he’s therefore agreeable to the talk of a new contract worth £300,000 per week.
A contract that will make him the highest paid player in the club’s history and will also see the Belgian remain at the club further than next year when his previous agreement was due to expire.
Prior to the rumoured contract extension, the offensive player was thought to be salivating at the prospect of joining the European champions after a teammate and countryman, Courtois, forced his move to the club last summer.
