Reports are rife with the news that Juventus left back Alex Sandro has penned an agreement with Manchester City by refusing AC Milan’s offer.
The player had been offered a new deal by the Italian champions but the terms do not seem very appealing to the Brazilian international who Chelsea are also keen on acquiring.
The Brazilian left back is a regular for the Italian champions and so losing him to the premier league champions will be an unwelcome blow to their European domination hopes.
Sandro was a target for Conte when he was Chelsea’s coach but it seems the desire for the player is still strong despite their preferred left back Marcos Alonso signing a contract extension recently.
Paris Saint Germain and Manchester United have also been reported suitor for the strong and swift Brazilian. However, it is looking like Manchester City have edged all the other suitors from the race.
City, Liverpool and Chelsea are yet to lose in the league after 10 games played. They are already preparing for the transfer window in January to help bolster their squad with fresh legs and varied skill set.
So, whoever gets provision of quality players in the January transfer window might have a marginal advantage to be crowned champions.
