Inter Milan launch late move for Chelsea star – not Drinkwater

Inter Milan are rumoured to be interested in Chelsea’s Spanish player, Pedro. This report is occasioned by their champions league qualification against Lazio on the last day of the Serie A.

They have gone ahead to sign players from left, right and centre to boost the team for Serie A campaign with one eye on the prestigious champions league which they last won almost half a decade ago.

On the evidence if this, seven players have already been acquired which include exciting Senegalese attacker Keita Balde who recently put pen to paper at the San Siro, following Sime Vrsaljko, Stefan de Vrij, Radja Nainggolan, Kwadwo Asamoah, Lautaro Martinez and Matteo Politano.

Inter Milan gaffer, Luciano Spaletti, isn’t yet convince that his team is capable of bringing the holy grail home, so he has identified Chelsea 31-year-old midfield as the player that will mark the completion of is incredible summer acquisition.

Pedro, of course is not new to playing in huge competitions given that he is a world Cup winner with Spain and Champions League winner with Barcelona. His experience in the competition is perhaps what Inter Milan craves hence the sudden interest.

Also, his time at Chelsea has availed him of a couple of trophies and worthy celebrations. However, the arrival of a new coach might greatly influence the number of games he will feature in this term as Hazard and Willian are above him.

The former Barça sensation still possesses some pace and unbelievable technique. He is versatile as he can play on either flank or even through the middle if required.

His leaving the Blues will be contingent on their ability to sign a replacement but a significant amount might tempt them to sell.
