Major injury boost to Manchester United ahead of Brighton game

Manchester United summer recruit Diogo Dalot has reportedly started training this week after joining with a knee challenge.

The 19-year-old Portuguese player was secured for £19 million from Porto after impressing Mourinho, but he is yet to feature.

The youngster who watched and celebrated the win against Leicester City at the Theatre of Dreams for the first match of the season will be hoping to hit the ground running after his injury impediments.

The full-back position is presently being occupied by club captain Antonio Valencia who is also sidelined with an injury. So if he impresses on his debut he can usurp the Colombian.

The youngster has impressed the fitness personnel and has been scheduled to begin light drills on the ball with the possibility of featuring in the teams training regimen this week.

This is a wonderful news for the club as Manchester United are presently thin in the full back department with the looming departure of Darmian to the Serie A.

Although it will take a few training for the youngster to be back to his best, but the news regarding his availability is just what Manchester United need after a summer that saw only two outfield and one goalie recruited.
