The youngster who watched and celebrated the win against Leicester City at the Theatre of Dreams for the first match of the season will be hoping to hit the ground running after his injury impediments.
The full-back position is presently being occupied by club captain Antonio Valencia who is also sidelined with an injury. So if he impresses on his debut he can usurp the Colombian.
The youngster has impressed the fitness personnel and has been scheduled to begin light drills on the ball with the possibility of featuring in the teams training regimen this week.
