Anthony Martial, who made his dissatisfaction in the Manchester United team known throughout the summer, has decided not to leave the club after all.
Martial’s agent, Philipe Lamboley was forthcoming with the decision of the player to leave after various footballing incident prompted his decision to depart for a fresh start abroad.
Juventus, Inter Milan and AC Milan were hugely interested in the 22-year-old Frenchman who can play in either wings.
On the home front, Chelsea and Tottenham were also considering swooping for the former Monaco man but Manchester United were unwilling to sell to a direct rival.
According to the agent, no agreement has been reached regarding extending the player’s contract. The club and the agent have been on it for months.
After all said and done it now seem like the Frenchman who missed out on the World Cup due to not featuring regularly for his club side will be staying put.
The youngster was recently fined two weeks wages for not returning early after leaving the club’s preseason US Tour to be with his family after the birth of their child.
