Man United told to pay £100M for star defender

Inter Milan have put a stupendous sum of £100m on the head of one of their most priced assets.

It is no secret that Manchester United are in dire need of quality defensive reinforcement following the amount of goals the team has shipped this season.

Jose Mourinho wanted that department sorted last season but the board was unwilling to back the purchase of the players identified by the Portuguese.

Although, this stance has reportedly changed as the board are now willing to invest £100m on the team when the winter transfer windows open less than forty days from now.

The player currently being targeted as the panacea to the backline is inter Milan’s defender Skriniar who will cost the total sum budgeted by  Manchester United for players in the upcoming window.

Speaking about the Slovakian international, Inter boss Luciano Spalletti revealed how much he is worth. “If it’s Barcelona, they will have to pay €100m and if I am them I would pay a €20m tip on top,” the Inter boss said.

From the above, it simply shows that it will take a large sum of money to convince Inter to part with their asset as they gradually fulfil their aim of returning to the front-page of football following a while in the wilderness.
