Marina Granovskaia meets player’s agent ahead of January transfer window

Chelsea football club are reportedly interested in securing the services of former Liverpool player Suso.

The Spanish player currently plies his trade in Italy with AC Milan where he is having an impressive season. He tops the charts of the top five league’s in Europe with the highest assists,  seven.

He has a €38m clause which can only become effective when clubs outside Italy are interested in his services. This is about to change with the new offer to be made.

Although, the Rossoneri club are working hard to elongate his contract and to ensure that he stays with the them beyond July 15 of next year.

Their biggest challenge is Chelsea are keen on signing the player and are not showing any signs of slowing down in their pursuit of the number 8.

This has reportedly been amplified because it is believed that the player will slot in seamlessly to the style of football on show at Stamford Bridge since the arrival of Maurizio Sarri.

Also, the player shares an agent with one of Chelsea’s stars Zappacosta in the person of Alessandro Lucci. All this could make AC Milan retaining his services beyond this season impossible.

Chelsea seem rather in need of a midfielder to serve as cover for Jorginho who is having an impeccable season so far under Sarri.
