The fans are not so smitten by the afro-hair Belgium’s display in the colours of the club and thereby accords him little respect.

Last season saw his appearances limited by injuries to 23 times for the Red Devils. In addition, he only started 7 times in all competition where he was directly involved in 6 goals.

The big footballer was an impact substitute last season. He was brought in when chips where down for the team using his height and frame to dominate team which often yielded results.

His contract renewal details are that he will earn the sum of €113,000-a-week, which will amount roughly to €12,000,000 in two years.

With the capture of Fred and the presence of Pogba and Matic, his role seemingly will continue as an impact player from the substitute bench.
