Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has been shocked apparently by the progress the team has made in such a short time under him.
He believed the team will struggle with his pattern of play and high energy involved with his style but the squad has surpassed his expectations.

The former Napoli boss initially expected to fumble at his new club given that his previous teams always took at least two months to get in sync with his ideas. He is shock that the opposite is the reality and he wasn’t shy to admit it when queried by journalist.
‘No, no,’ he said when asked if he expected such a fine start. He continued, ‘Because in every experience that I have had before joining Chelsea I was in trouble in the first two months. I thought that it would be the same here. I think that here I was lucky that the players were able to win without a very good level of tactical organisation’.
