Manchester United manager has confirmed that a couple of his players will miss the match against Newcastle United on Saturday. Marcos Rojo, Jesse Lingard and Ander Herrera will be unavailable for the club as they visit St. James Park.
The duo of Ander Herrera and Jesse Lingard have not featured for the club since their unceremonious defeat do Derby County in the league cup. Marcos Rojo hasn’t featured at all this campaign.
In another front, Ashley Young will return after picking up an injury in the defeat to West Ham United last weekend which saw him sit out the boring goalless draw against Valencia in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Jose Mourinho was clear in his early and brief pre match press conference on those that will be available after minor knock for the visit to Rafa Benitez side and those who would not.
Manchester United have lost four matches already this season. They have experienced defeat in the premier three times in seven matches and were eliminated from the Carabo cup by Derby County in a tensed penalty shootout.
All this an more have heightened the pressure on the Portuguese to deliver especially with city rivals Manchester City doing so well. Things need to be set aright starting against Benitez men who are yet to conjure up a win since the campaign started in August.
A poor result on Saturday will increase the weight of pressure on the team and things might start to turn awry really fast.
