Reports are rife in the sport world of a possible transfer of centre back, Kostas Manolas to Manchester United in this transfer window.
United’s defensive challenges are well documented this season. They have conceded an incredible amount of 32 goals already, four more than they let in the last campaign.
To remedy this challenge, the club has been linked with top defensive talents across Europe which includes the likes of Milan Skriniar, Kalidou Koulibaly and Manolas.
Manolas, 27, is keen to join the Red Devils given that he is frustrated with the incessant stranglehold Juventus has on the Italian league. The hold looks unbreakable as they have dominated signings in the league and their dominance doesn’t look like waning anytime soon.
The Greek has been a very influential player for Roma through last season to this one and his performances are believed to be up there with the best in the business in Europe.
Manchester United’s board are reportedly set to make a move of about £32.5 million for Manolas in this winter window as a sign of support for the interim manager.
The player is obviously interested in playing for United. He mentioned the Red Devils amongst the clubs he would love to don their Jersey when the time presented itself.
