Rashford out – Manchester United’s reliable 4-3-3 XI vs Bournemouth

Manchester United visit Bournemouth at the vitality Stadium for their eleventh Premier League fixture.

High flying Bournemouth will be looking to upset Manchester United who are gradually finding their rhythm after a slow start to the campaign.

Jose Mourinho might start with Lukaku after bringing the big Belgian on for Rashford in the second half against Everton. Everything else might remain the same.

De Gea should continue in goal. Even though he has only kept one clean sheet in his last ten league matches, he is still amongst the best keepers in the league.

On the flanks, Luke Shaw seem rather confident and enjoying his football. After putting in some scintillating work, he could continue in that capacity.  On the opposite flank, Ashley Young is not paying his age any attention with the form he is in right now, so he probably should start on that evidence. Smalling and Lindelof have not been overly solid defensively but they are the best the manager has got so they could continue in the centre of defence.

In the midfield, we might see Paul Pogba who took 11 seconds to play a penalty, Matic and Fred. Against Everton, they played okay so the coach might likely continue with the trio.

In attack, Martial could start having scored four goals in his three outings. His pace and trickery is gradually returning and that could see him retain his position on the left of he attack. Juan Mata could also continue in the right of the attack. The Spaniard is gradually hitting form with another remarkable outing against Everton.

The only change envisaged is Rashford making way for Romelu Lukaku. The Belgian has been hugely criticised for his poor return on goal.

The game against Bournemouth should be interesting considering how Howe like to play fast attacking football.

Here’s how United could line up:
