Sarri sends Chelsea scouts to watch prolific striker ahead of January transfer window

Reports are out claiming that Bournemouth Callum Wilson is interesting Chelsea and scout have been saddled to watch the player.

Chelsea are having a swell time under the guidance of Maurizio Sarri which has seen the club remain undefeated in all competitions despite facing Arsenal, Liverpool (twice) and Manchester United during that time.

The manager is not taking his unbelievable start to his Premier league life for granted and he is looking to make improvements to the team to continue with their style of play.

He is therefore scouting players that will fit his pattern of play termed Sarri-ball and this search has taken him to the doors of Bournemouth.

The Chelsea team is heavily reliant on Eden Hazard for goals following the goal drought of Oliver Giroud and the mental fragility of Alvaro Morata. Although, the latter has returned to form by bagging five goals in six appearance.

To ensure that the goals don’t dry up when Hazard is unavailable either due to injury or suspension, Callum Wilson is being scouted.

Wilson recently scored his 50 goal for Bournemouth FC last week against Manchester United. A club he joined in 2014 from Coventry.

Reacting to that achievement, he said, ‘It’s nice to make that achievement. I should have had it a lot sooner’.

The Englishman is on fire this season and has scored seven goals and provided four assists after suffering two serious ligament injuries in the last three years.

He will hopefully hit a century of goals soon if everything goals well in the injury front.
