Chelsea midfielder is set to have a serious sit down with his employer’s representatives to clarify his future amidst the uncertainty surrounding his playing time.
According to reports another loan move seems to be on the offer for the young Englishman if Maurizio Sarri cannot guarantee him regular playing time.
This is because last season saw him do very well for Crystal Palace while on loan which earned him a call up to the national team and from there to the World Cup in Russia.
Loftus-Cheek, 22, amassed 25 appearances for the Eagles while with them last term and Chelsea made it crystal clear that his services were essential in the Blues team this season.
It is yet to be seen though how true that assertion is considering he has only featured ones for the team which was from the bench and in the 68th minute against Huddersfield. Against Arsenal on Saturday, he was not even on the bench.
Couple with the arrival of Kovacic from Real Madrid these have informed the youngsters decision to hold a crunch talk with the management to at least know what Maurizio Sarri’s plan are exactly for him.
This past year has seen his stock rose so it is paramount that he is made aware of the situation of things before the transfer window shuts for good this month.
Clubs in Germany, Spain and France and especially Schalke are interested in his services. So fingers crossed, the outcome from the talk with the club will address his situation and hopefully feature in the coming matches.
